Clear Aligners

Straighten your teeth without metal braces. Clear aligners are a modern alternative to traditional orthodontics: a series of thin, custom-made trays that fit snugly over your teeth and move them gradually into their new position. Each set is worn for around two weeks before you swap it for the next one in the series, and the changes happen so subtly that most people around you won’t notice you’re wearing them. They’re removable, so you take them out to eat, drink and brush, which makes daily life and oral hygiene a lot easier than with fixed braces.

We offer both Invisalign and Spark. Both are well-established clear aligner systems and work in the same way: a digital scan, a custom treatment plan, and a sequence of trays designed for your teeth. The differences come down to the fine detail of how each system is made and how the treatment is paid for, and the right one for you depends on your case and your preferences. We go through both options properly at your first appointment, with no pressure either way.

Who it suits

Clear aligners work well for crowding, gaps and mild to moderate bite issues. They’re a popular choice for adults and older teens who’d rather not wear fixed braces. They aren’t right for every case. If your teeth need more complex movement, we’ll tell you honestly and talk you through the options.

How it works

Your first visit is a consultation and a digital scan, so no messy impressions. From the scan we map out how your teeth will move and show you a preview of the likely result before you decide anything. You wear each set of aligners for around two weeks, then move to the next. Most treatments take [X to Y months] depending on the case. At the end you wear a retainer to keep everything in place.

Invisalign and Spark

We fit both systems. Both are clear, removable and effective, and both straighten teeth the same way. Which one suits you comes down to your case and your preferences, and we’ll talk it through at your consultation.

Flexible payment

We know cost matters. That’s why we offer flexible payment plans, so you can spread the cost over monthly instalments rather than paying it all upfront. You’ll get a fixed quote after your consultation, with nothing added later.

Caring for your aligners

Take them out before eating or drinking anything except water, heat and food particles warp the plastic and stain it. Brush and floss before putting them back in, otherwise you’re sealing food and plaque against your teeth for hours. Clean the aligners themselves with a soft brush and cool water, skip toothpaste, it’s abrasive and dulls the plastic.

Wear time matters more than people expect: 20-22 hours a day. Every hour out adds up and can push your treatment off schedule.

If an aligner cracks or goes missing

Not an emergency, but don’t ignore it either, it affects your timeline. Don’t guess whether to skip ahead or go back a set on your own. Call us, we’ll tell you which set to wear in the meantime and get a replacement sorted.
